Thursday, June 30, 2016. I said in my 38 week update that it would probably be a couple more weeks. I was in labor less than 24 hours later, at 38 weeks and 4 days. At the beginning of last week we welcomed our baby boy and named him Bennett. We are loving getting to know him and figuring out what it means to be parents. Nothing could have prepared me for the spectrum of emotions, for how simultaneously wonderful and impossible this feels or for how much I love this tiny human.
