Wednesday, August 5, 2015. Home inspections are done! Our second - final - home inspection was last week, and we passed. The changes we had to make were all good changes and nothing too dramatic. So now that our house has been approved and is considered foster-ready, we start our social worker interviews to see if Jeff and I are ready, too.
Wednesday, September 3, 2014. 3 years old and 1 month home. Mari is THREE YEARS OLD today. And a couple of days ago we celebrated that she has been home one whole month! So much to celebrate. We are grateful to have these milestones that can finally be celebrated instead of missed. The month that has passed since we stepped off the airplane on August 1 has been a whirlwind.
