My Life As a Farming Intern. Sunday, August 9, 2015. Well I figured it was time to do a blog post. We are so busy, I hardly know where to start! Right now we have about 1500 broilers, a dozen or so beef cows, 1 milk cow, several pigs, 1100 laying hens, and 40 ewes and a bunch of lambs. It has been raining like crazy here, so we have been having a tough time getting our hay up. Thankfully the weather has been much more conducive to haymaking recently.
