Monday, August 9, 2010. 1 My favorite tools were the Digital Storytelling and the iPod touch apps. I am eager to use Digital Storytelling for literacy development with my students this year.
Sunday, August 8, 2010. Boy was I wrong! I enjoyed the most. Although I became frustrated when I could not get it to upload I turned to my techy. Fiends and they were able to help me. I think this was a very valuable staff development.
11 Tools For The 21st Century Learner! Thursday, July 8, 2010. I have previously used Google Maps, Google Images, and the Google search engine, but I had no idea about Google Reader and Google Docs. I know I will continue to use these Google resources personally as well a professionally. Google Docs will make it so much easier to communicate with my team, and Reader will definitely help me to keep track of my online resources. The first activity I will most likely attempt.
Friday, July 30, 2010. I still want to create a word cloud in Big Huge Lab. Again, this type of visual is a great set for a topic. I assume one of the objectives of 11 Tools is simply introduction to some of the resources available and certainly not mastery of. As far as outcomes go, there were some pretty difficult. At least, for some.
Friday, June 14, 2013. Eventhough we will have digital citizenship rules in the classroom, I will also like to teach them the above rules for when they are away from school.
Tuesday, November 30, 2010. The two image generators that I chose to use were Wordle and Word Mosaic. Both of these tools were pretty easy for me to use. I used my students names to create the Wordle and I used my name and a symbol for the Word Mosaic. Both of these image generators could be used in the classroom. Tuesday, November 9, 2010.
