We finished our study on snails this week with a couple of fun snack ideas. Day 1 we made Cinnamon Swirl Snails using our pretzel dough recipe. Each child took a piece of the dough and rolled it flat, then spread. Day 2 we used leftover hot dog buns to make Snail Sandwiches. Then rolled it up to eat. At the end of Day 2 we took our snail garden outside and let the snails go.

We were having difficulties getting along in our class. Lots of tattling and arguing was beginning to occur. Yikes! So a little cooperative group work was in order and as a result we have lots of new games for a class game center! Land, an ABC game, number game or Chutes and Ladders.

Tuesday, November 18, 2014. This was a little project that I made up in my head in which the end product turned out great, but the process was more difficult than anticipated.
