Wednesday, July 01, 2015. almost finished! BTW, these paintings are showing up cropped on the blog post. BUT if you click on the photo of the painting, you should be able to see it all! I quickly painted this group of ladies around a quilting frame. Worked on it and still it troubled me. but color dominance was an issue! Okay, so the pink, busy background had to go. I decided that blue would be my dominate color.
This is an attempt to collect and post photos of any quilt which I have made over the last 30 years. just so I can have the joy of seeing them all come together! I owned a quilt shop for 11 years and made LOTS of quilts. some sold, some given to friends and family some donated to charity raffles, silent auctions etc. Monday, February 27, 2017. Responding to a request for a better photo of my red feathered star. This quilt was made over more than a decade! Then, I hand-quilted it! Red and white quilt.
