Our journey to find and bring home our little Kyrgyz munchkin. Friday, June 11, 2010. We celebrated by having a small get together at our home. My mother-in-law, MK and Kelly, as well as the rest of my family, were all present for the occassion. Everyone had a blast! I even tried to make Kyrgyz lagman from this cool photography and recipes blog.
Saturday, June 11, 2011. I received referral photos of the beautiful Aishola and knew she would be my daughter. I find myself thinking of her today. wondering if she is running along the shore of Lake Issyk-kul with some siblings? Still grieving a bit that I was never able to complete her adoption.
