今早我們決定先在公寓附近探索一番, 特別是到這裡的菜市場逛逛, 能夠近距離接觸當地人的生活, 正是旅行中最有趣味之處. 我們住在第十三區義大利廣場地鐵站這裡, 公寓位在27樓, 幾乎可以俯瞰整個巴黎市區, 公寓位在的社區與家樂福及地鐵站基本上是連成一體, 住在這裡一周, 可以感覺到這裡是當地人的生活圈, 從這裡到市區也很方便. 雖然網路上都說13區是華人區, 可我們住那裏的一周內, 並沒見到什麼亞洲面孔, 感覺不出是所謂的華人區. 每日進出所見多是西方面孔, 也看得出來多是當地居民, 很有在地生活的感受.

A Picture is Worth a Thousand Words. Thursday, October 14, 2010. Better Late than Never! I lost the cord to my camera and was not able to download. These picture to the computer until now. These are from Summer Camp this past July. There was a devastating fire. On the mountain about 8 years ago. The fire came close to destroying the entire camp. My father has been a Scout leader for me. And each one of my brothers. He has never missed a chance to be with his Scouting sons. Thursday, March 4, 2010.
Our mission is to taime the little wild beasts otherwise known as Kaylie and Kamrie! Monday, February 20, 2012. Kaylie loves to do projects. She painted the letters and I helped her glue glitter on them. I think they turned out super cute! For her birthday we took her to Build a bear while Kaylie was at school.

Wednesday, August 22, 2012. This is our garden experiment for the the season. We have unearthed a treasure. Its a dirty job and Brigitta was happy to do it! Thursday, May 3, 2012. The spring garden is in and it is flourishing! In addition to our gardens we have added three more fruit trees as well as 3 raspberry, 2 blueberry and 2 blackberry bushes. Friday, January 27, 2012. Wednesday, May 23, 2007. I just killed a bug in my bathroom so big, it will literally take me a lifetime to forget it. Incidentally, the hunting, capture, and execution of said bug was an epic Rumsfield. I graduated on Sunday, May 20 th.
