Wednesday, February 13, 2013. The cherry cake quilt is getting closer to completion. Its a really cheerful quilt to work on during dreary winter days. Only four more applique blocks to finish and then I can sew it together and think about border choices.

My new quilt is progressing quite quickly. Now there is more to show. Here is the broderie perse centre for the quilt - all cut from Tree of Life. It was a bit of a mess at first auditioning the pieces - so hard to visualise at that stage! Some drafting of patterns.

Baskets in Brown and Pink. With some really cute quilts in it. All have letters in them. I put the quilt on a picket fence in front of my bay window for the photo. The fence keeps my dog from going through the old glass windows.
