Lots of fun was had during Maths Week, the children took part in House of Bricks lego a maths trail which had them finding and counting objects in the Lower Middle Syndicate area, maths questions to solve everyday, a visit from ASB Bank to talk about saving money the children had to pretend to work to earn pretend money and a Cantamaths competition on Friday! We are group of enthusiastic learners who are new to school in Year 1. We are like a school of fish and we are searching and discovering new things every day. Tuesday, 1 November 2016. WEEK 3 - SHORELINE BEACH EXPEDITION. A great expedition was had by all yesterday. Room 6 and 7 and Parent Helpers braved the wind at Spencer Park to learn all about the habitat of the shoreline and how to look after the environment and animals that live in and around the shoreline. Sunday, 21 August 2016. TERM 3 - WEEK 4 - FERRYMEAD. On Thursday Rooms 4, 5, 6 and 7 ventured to Ferrymead. Break time to wander around Ferrymead.
