Sunday, December 14, 2014. Thoughts on the First Year. The reality of life once you entered was what I had both prayed for and what I later prayed against. I so desperately wanted a baby that I could rock and love and would be content to never be put down. I got a baby who demanded to be rocked and loved and would scream for hours if put down.
