Friday, October 26, 2012. We had a fabulous week with family in Kentucky! When PaPaw is in charge. No lack of personality here. Madison with Gran-Gran, her Great-Grandmother and one of the sweetest women to ever walk the earth! Gran-Gran is legally blind, walks with a cane, and yet still cooks dinner for us every time we come to visit! Madison and Uncle Mike.

Wednesday, October 5, 2016. ELA students have been reading Hatchet. By Gary Paulsen, a great adventure story of a boy who survives a plane crash and is stranded in the Canadian Wilderness to fend for himself. In addition to reading the novel, students have been working on writing skills using the RYBG strategy in order to better respond to literature.

Gerczak and I will be teaching 7th Grade ELA and 7th Grade Work Keys this year at Advanced Technology Academy. This is my fourth year teaching at Advanced Technology Academy and I am looking forward to a successful school year with all of you. Germany! Wendy Sledd is the reigning Mrs. Germany Galaxy and will represent Deutschland in the international pageant in the summer of 2006. Wendy is married to US Army officer, Lieutenant Colonel Keith Sledd, who commands the 299th Forward Support Battalion in Schweinfurt, Germany. She has appeared on Good Morning, America and the Today Show. Wendy is strong in her Christian beliefs and credits God for her opportunities to serve as a role model.
