This is a sad post to write. The time has come to close this lovely blog. I have accepted a position as the school librarian for 2015 and am very excited for the new challenges and opportunities for creativity that wait for me. Some children in Room 8 have been learning to solve addition problems by counting on from the highest number. Watch these children solve their problems using a number line. Thursday, 6 August 2015. Te Reo for Maori language week. Today we made a short video using Te Reo about asking each other where we are going. Monday, 27 July 2015. Room 4 has been looking at elements and discovered they are just different types of single atoms. We found that atoms have protons, neutrons and electrons. Sunday, 15 November 2015. Today the pupils of Bev Perett performed and showed their musical talents. I did 2 performances playing the keyboard and singing for one and playing piano and singing for the other one. We played Lighthouse by G.
