Me building a Model-T Ford. This picture was taken in 1959. All my life I have built miniatures. They have, for some reason, facinated me. So, it should stand to reason I would get involved in building model cars. Actually, I began building model cars around 1958 and have never stopped. He thought plastic was just a fad. But he still bought models for me. This 1955 Mercedes Benz Gullwing has never been out of a case.

When I had my hobby shop, I got interested in die cast metal vehicles.
