Wednesday, July 29, 2015. Christmas in July and EQ7 Row Along. Christmas is my most favorite season of the year. We have so much to celebrate and be thankful for. Did you know there are only 149 days until Christmas? This year, I finished my very first Christmas quilt. I used a variety of different quilting. I have never mixed hand and machine quilting. I hand quilted around the snowflakes using Aurifil 12 wt. And them machine quilted with 50 wt.

A red cardinal on black wool. A beautiful red cardinal appliqued on black wool. The Calder-inspired art quilt in the corner is one I made years ago. I also made the red and white window shade!
