Sunday, November 20, 2011. We have officially been in South Carolina a full month! We are all adjusting well but still miss some of our friends in Conyers. I feel really like this is truly where we are supposed to be! It just seems right and I know that I have put my trust in God on all the extra that has to go on.
Thursday, September 1, 2011. It happened a few months ago, towards the end of Spring,. Sitting outside with a buddy enjoying some fro-yo. We noticed an older man walking back and forth along the outside path,. Cleaning the store windows that rimmed his path,. With his bucket and squeegee in tow. His constant muttering to himself. But he seemed to be in constant conversation. When he found himself cleaning the window nearest us.
Take delight in the LORD, and he will give you the desires of your heart. Monday, October 14, 2013. Today we woke up at 5am to go on a morning game drive at the Nairobi National Park. So, basically a mini safari. It was delicious of course! We traveled to the Kibera slum next. Saturday, October 12, 2013.
Thursday, October 27, 2011. Sidewalk chalk and a rainy afternoon make for 2 very happy ladies. Ready to make a beautiful sidewalk masterpiece. Or maybe just a masterpiece on my leg instead. She thought that was pretty clever. Oh how i do love this beautiful jubilee. Friday, October 21, 2011. Everett can barely wait for the peas. As always, it all worked out in the end. Full bellies, happy babies.
So I have to confess. we cheated on Southern Belle this year! I love Southern Belle and it is one of my favorite places to go. I love the scenery, the people that own it, and love even more their produce I can get from there! Oh yeah. and their blackberry cobbler! He was free to do whatever he wanted! This place is huge! It was super fun! We spent all day there having a blast! I will continue to support Southern Belle, but for the fall, Corn Dawgs has won my heart! We met a new teache.
