Melinda Miles Phister, an artist who lived in Santa Fe, New Mexico, was born on April 1, 1944, and died on September 4, 2009. She was much loved by her husband and by many friends. Her husband Monty ran across a poem by Richard Wilbur, written after his wife had passed away. It was about a dream his wife had often had of an imaginary house she loved.
