Looking for work has been. Had a couple interviews but nothing panned out. Many people are in my position. So, I feel horribly guilt.
I love good books and together with a few friends of mine, I have started a new reader-centered book blog A Few Good Books. Has a news feed on his LJ for getting out the real story of the suffering in New Orleans. This breaks my heart that so many of my fellow Americans are still in such squalor five days after the storm.

Thursday, February 3, 2011. RainA Trip Down The Memory Lane. Did the soothing pitter patter of the rain drops and the evocative scent of fresh earth ever fail to trigger a cascade of memories? Well not in my case. Coming back from school all drenched,though armed with an umbrella then plunge on the snacks, sit by the window and nudge it to feel the lingering perfume of the earth was a customary affair during the rainy season which i never dared to miss . The rugged wilds of the Northwest touch my soul like no other. Sunday, January 11, 2009. We started at Elk lake, east of Bend Oregon. After a mile and a half we arrived at the Pacific Crest Trail. It was our goal to walk north to Santiam Pass, it would take us along the east side of the Three Sisters, though the Mt Washington wilderness before making it to Santiam Pass. Our first obstacle was a large blowdown.
