Where Proverbs 31 meets Carrie Bradshaw. Thursday, August 9, 2012. Forget You and Forget Him Too. Do I know you? I turned and saw the father of a student I had this year. During the year there had been meetings, phone calls, notes, field trips and all manner of interactions, but within a month of graduation, he had forgotten me.
A wandering heart fixed upon the Mount. Lately I wonder how adequate my growth has the potential to be, if my vertical communion is limited and the majority of it is not initiated by me. Is spiritual growth separate from the other kinds we experience as humans, like the mental or emotional species? Does any class of growth happen separate from God? This is my fear! We grew apart or otherwise being sincere in any way. The tone the letter is so unlike me, it was unsettling to read.

I used a natural 28count linen with the DMC threads that the pattern advised. I love the happy spring feel to this charming design. I tried a new finish with some lace trim and am quite pleased with how it has turned out. This is the front with the smaller stitched piece finished separately and trimmed with the lace then stitched on to the larger pinkeep. The side view showing ric rac trim.
