God had a plan for His people which included the Promised Land - the tribe of Reuben had their own plan which did not inlcude crossing the Jordan. They promised to fight for Israel etc, but they were not crossing the Jordan. How many times have I been to the banks of the Jordan - looked across and not crossed? Any vow .
This summer i am spending 10 weeks in Japan on a missions trip. I will be in Shizuoka with a team of 8 others. Wednesday, July 16, 2008. Oh, Satan is sly! So this is not the happiest of posts, but it is an honest one. I am beginning to understand praising God in suffering. Praise Him because if Satan is working hard against you the LORD must be working powerfully through you.

Saturday, 15 August 2015. M rubbed down one end of the extension barge board and gave it a coat of varnish. Then prepped the bikes and he and C went on the CTC ride. 5 miles so pretty good for C who has done very little cycling since the beginning of her exam season. C then had a soak in the bath with a super sized bath bomb. M showered and did steaks for dinner. I also prepared a pasta lunch for my resident cyclists. My husband can never finish anything.
A slight hiccup in the dream department. When we walk to the edge of all the light we have and take the step into the darkness of the unknown, we must believe that one of two things will happen. There will be something solid for us to stand on or we will be taught to fly. My dream is still alive. Just have to get someone else on board to start the journey and he is proving to be hesitant. To give up what he knows and the security he feels is a big step for him.
