Monday, September 8, 2008. Staycation hullabaloo, part 2! The last part of our vacation, we decided to go to the Museum of Transportation with my friend Mandy, her son Jace, and the baby she nannies for, Dylan. Joey was born with hypotonia and as he has grown he has also been diagnosed as Failure to Thrive and with Hypotonic Cerebral Palsy. 5 years old he functions at a 7-8 month-old level in almost every way. Monday, March 31, 2008. Our social worker just called a little while ago to let us know that there were no problems in court today and that Jaxon is legally ours! No more worries. I cant tell you how happy we are at this moment. Its like we just took a big exhale and can continue on with no fears. Now all we have are postplacement visits and then our court date for his Adoption Day to finalize things. Yay! Sunday, March 16, 2008. Bmom and 1 month old.

Hes thriving and Im not getting the daily phone calls like I was last school year. And then theres the other little boy! He dances and kicks in my arms when the bus pulls up and screams JAYDEN!
