Friday, March 7, 2014. With all the snow we have been getting lately, we headed over to the school to go sledding on some great hills. They have several and each one offers something fun. The boys had a blast. I even took a few turns! It brought back many memories of spending ALL DAY outside sledding with family and friends when I was a kid. Some good memories were made! Thursday, January 12, 2012. Will Run for Chocolate! On December 3 I ran the DC Hot Chocolate 15k. We got up at the crack of dawn, and drove to the National Harbor in Maryland for our 8am start time. Well, this race was kind of a mess. Which we knew it would be. The National Harbor area is. One way in and out. This race had over 20,000 participants. Everything was at a standstill coming across to Maryland.
Thursday, September 16, 2010. Erika is in Preschool! She goes to preschool 4 days a week. We went to West Virginia with some friends for his birthday. Our 156,000-square-foot, two-story Brewer Elementary-Middle School located is at 92 Pendleton St. The newly constructed building has replaced four aging elementary schools as well as the Middle School, and it can house up to 1,050 students in pre-kindergarten through grade eight.
