Thursday, July 23, 2009. So, a while ago we were just hangin out and I figured why not torture the nieces and nephews by making them pose for hours on end. well as it turns out they outlasted the photographers. Here is a bit of what they had in store for us. Friday, June 19, 2009.
The subjective objectivity and dirty, confessional realism of the snapshot aesthetic completely enchant me. I love the ability of the camera to capture actual events with a sense of anachronistic realism. My goal is to create simple photographs where the attention is on the moment, but where the context remains an ambiguous pseudo-fiction with which you can imagine any narrative. This is my year in photography school.
The hodgepodge of experience we call everyday life can be extra-ordinary too.
