I loved Fenton glassware long before QVC made it a household name. Members of my family have been collectors for many, many years. However, I really had not paid much attention to some of the historical aspects of the glassware until recently when I spotted a vase at a flea market which looked like Fenton but was painted differently than anything I had previously seen. I bought it, because the price was right. I have another Fenton piece in my shop.

Thursday, April 26, 2012. Heart Block 2nd Degree. Last Tuesday I had a pace maker implanted for 2nd degree heart block. A year and a half ago I endured open heart surgery for a tumor the size of a goose egg in my left atrium. I dont mean to whine but darnit I could of had a stroke or a cardiac arrest! Then the last 2 days of work I have been winded while walking from my car to the building! I guess that I am scared for what could happen next! Sunday, April 8, 2012. I just love this photo!
