Hardships and Changes to the Mission. The name of my mission is San Diego de Alcala. It was built July 16,1769. The person who started my mission was Junipero Serra. The location of my mission is 15 miles North of California-Mexican border, on a hill about 8 miles away from the Paciffic Ocean. My mission was built so the Spanish could spread their religion. It is also known for producing fine wine.
Saturday, July 26, 2008. I am amazed at all of the great things that have taken place here in Thailand - especially in the last week. I was expecting us to really just attempt to understand a little bit of culture and language while we were here. I really did not think that we would be able to do too much serious ministry because of language difficulties; however, some really exciting things have happened. Thursday, July 17, 2008. Today I took the kids to the mall to paint a plaster of paris.
Saturday, July 7, 2012. There is no other feeling in the world that compares to waking up the day before a HUGE mission trip. All the preparation, all the fundraising, all the prayer and pondering subsides to one. day! Today, is that day for me. I want to thank everyone .
