Monday, 3 August 2015. In room 10 we have been doing speeches. We had a lot of topics to choose from I chose animals. I chose three animals to research, the Sabre Tooth Tiger, the Wooly Mammoth and the Moa. I found an astonishing fact about all of them. The Sabre Tooth Tigers were not actually related to the modern tigers of Asia. The Wooly Mammoth was not the only wooly prehistoric animal there was also the Wooly Rhino. And the Moas beak was as sharp as garden scissors and could easily cut a flax leaf.CONTENT

Room 8 is a bubbly classroom of year 1-2 students. We are learning to participate, take risks with our learning and keep trying even if it is hard. Monday, 3 November 2014. Term Four has been off to a fantastic start here in Room 1! This week we have begun our two weeks of swimming and that has been fun so far. For the first three weeks of the term we have had a technology focus. We have created our own technology process which we follow whenever we create or build something.
