Thursday, July 12, 2012. This is the first photo of the girls together. Being born extremely prematurely they were whisked away to the NICU and stored in separate isolettes. This was the first time we were able to hold both of them and they were able to see each other. It was the most amazing moment! What a Difference a Year Can Make. Last summer we struggled with limited water. We used the outhouse and took laundry to town every weekend to wash. At home we were grateful to be able to wash our hands and take an occasional shower. My new nemesis became the 20 foot tall, very healthy, happy, mocking willow tree thriving between the creek and our well house. This is what we have done so far.
