Life in the Land of the Rising Sun. Tuesday, October 10, 2017. My Complicated Relationship with Tsuchiura. My first visit to the Land of the Rising Sun, during a college band tour in 1987, was to Tsukuba, and I went in by way of Tsuchiura. When I ran into my Uncle Brad on a street in Tsuchiura one day totally out of the blue, it made the enchantment of the city even stronger. I was told by someone that there was apparently a lot of growing resentment against foreigners as a result of the cosmopolitan Tsu.

I39;m the Moody Minstrel, an Oregonian who has been living in Japan for almost half his life. Music has always been one of my chief interests, and my 1 hobby is making home recordings of my compositions. This page has been set up to share some samples of my work. Keep in mind that these are little more than demos. Although my work has improved over the years as I39;ve gained in experience and equipment, they are not professional recordings. Thursday, March 1, 2012. Have been a good thing back when they first started, making sure workers were treated and paid fairly, but not any more. Hire union workers or have employees who choose to go union, and sit around on their duffs the rest of the time. Unions are a good thing.
