We found the Sun! We are suppose to have a week or so of sunny weather here in Desolation Sound and how grateful we are to dry the webs that were attempting to grow between our toes. It does make the soul feel brighter. Lots of boats stop to fish along the transit of Hole in the Wall. Gosh, they made good time.
Magic Moments - Adventures of Glen and Liz. Thursday, August 8, 2013. July 6 - Swanson Harbor. We docked in Swanson Harbor at a dock that is just anchored in the bay. Swanson is about 10 miles east of Glacier Bay. Glen took Debbie and Robert for a long dinghy ride to Hoonah to see if they would have the zip line open. Nope only open on days when the cruise ships come to town. So no need to go to Hoonah this year. Friday, July 5, 2013.
Tuesday, July 29, 2014. Back to work, the house remodel and a beautiful Northwest summer! We got home on Sunday night after unloading and washing the boat. We had our last dinner with the Miners. This time were headed around Vancouver Island with our Alaska cruising buddys from last year. We leave on Friday for an RHYC Fathers Day Cruise to Port Ludlow. From there we head north to Victoria and then clockwise around the island in 4 to 6 weeks. Weather permitting. I suspect that we will not have a lot of connectivity so we will post as we are able.
