This is a memoir of my Peace Corps service in the Philippines from 1970 to 1974. My name is Arlene Lipman and I spent 3 12 years as a Peace Corps Volunteer in the Philippines with my husband David. We were education volunteers assigned to bring modern methods of teaching math and science to elementary school teachers, first in Toril, Davao City and then in Tagbilaran City, Bohol. Some of the post are transcripts of letters I wrote home at that time.CONTENT
