Michael Anthony Hillier was born in South Africa -1954- and grew up in Zambia. He started doing sculpture at an early age. Inspired by various mediums he works with paper mache, urethane and resin, wood, polystyrene, butter, stone and clay. He then specialized in wooden rocking horses for a number of years. More recently he has become inspired to do bronze castings.
