Tuesday, February 8, 2011. Wednesday, October 20, 2010. It was another beautiful day in Northern Michigan for the 5th annual Peak to Peak mountain bike race at Crystal Mountain. I have enjoyed this race the last few years, and was looking forward to it. The promotor always does a nice job with everything and the race has a good atmosphere. It was nice not to be freezing at the start.

Mike Anderson was a newcomer, a rookie to the restaurant business. But as both a legendary college football great and a retired athlete, he knew that success came with hard work and determination. Formerly an All-American Linebacker at Louisiana State University, Mike was, literally, not afraid to tackle anything including his first restaurant.
