Home is Where the Army Sends Us! Tuesday, September 2, 2014. 2 years and counting and it has still not been any easier. I sure miss my best friend! Between traveling with TAPS to Alaska and DC often and with some girls to Mexico and Jamaica, I have been embracing life still. I have also been on a couple awesome trips with our precious little girl to Mexico. We also made it to LA and Disneyland and she thought it was the greatest place ever! Mike and Abby Knapp.

Tuesday, February 11, 2014. The Rest of Our Hospital Visit. Just a warning, this post is kind of gruesome and I go into detail about some things that some of you may not want to read. He also explained to me that I had lost 2 liters of blood and I may have to have a blood transfusion. I never actually had to, I was able to slowly build it all back up by myself. Monday, January 29, 2018. Last night we returned to the next-door Asiatique outdoor night market for dinner. This time we decided to go a little upscale for our last meal in Thailand. It was a good decision. We started with Chicken wrapped in Pandanus leaf thinking it was the Paan leaf appetizer of two nights ago. Totally different but tasty nonetheless. Our main course was Massaman Curry which we rarely find in the US. My desire for the exotic was fulfilled by the ani.

Friday, July 2, 2010. During the month of May, I took a cake decorating class. It was so much fun and I learned that I might have a talent for this kind of thing. Maybe one day I will open my own bakery or something. I think that would be fun! I am planning on taking the next course in August with a friend, so I will learn how to work with fondant. I am super excited about that! My friend Kristy was getting married. so I decorated this one for her. This was my last cake and probably one of my favorites! .
