Looks like most my blogging friends have also been taking a bit of a break recently. We were the house band in Cafe Uno.

The picture above is of the waterfront in Cape Town. And in the background is Table Mountain. This flat topped mountain dominates the city, famous for its table cloth, a white cloud that descends from time to time. I never think of Table Mountain. Without remembering my Dad, David Douglas Watson. He spent time studying in this lovely city, one of the most beautiful in the world. He often talked of this mountain and of Cape Town. This adventure began Christmas 2004, when Steven, Peter, Dad and myself went down to Sussex to visit George and Brenda. Steven said that it would be possible with so many in the family to begin to trace the family tree and thus began the journey.
