Thursday, April 16, 2015. We looked around at places that were within driving distance to us, and then heard from some friends about Mackinac Island in the Michigan peninsulas. It looked like a perfect 3-4 day vacation! It was chilly in the mornings, but warmed up quite a bit in the day time so we layered up. The first day we decided to tour a portion of the Island on foot.

Monday, February 17, 2014. We went out west last fall for Caleb and I to attend the BYU Alumni Chapters Annual conference. We made a big trip out of it, spending a lot of time with both sides of the family. The kids and I flew to California first. Heather was awesome enough to drive down from John Day with her kids, including 6 week old Sam, and hang out with us. The cousins had a great time playing tag and dog piling on Papa. Rub-a-dub-dub, four girls in the tub. Thanks for the fun trip, Mom and Dad! .
Sunday, January 25, 2015. She has the BEST head nod ever! She responds yes or no to things. So cute! She pulls herself up to a stand and walks along furniture. She is starting to get into drawers and things. She loves pulling toys out of bins and books off of the shelves. She is quite the petite.

Thursday, August 13, 2015. We have found our home and it is more of a waiting game now, we will still be providing additional paperwork and signing our lives away. Our closing date is September 2. Michele will have been going to the new school for about 2 weeks and Grant will have been going to kindergarten for about 1 week by the time we move in. So I had a huge scare this afternoon in regards to our new home.

It was nice to have a quiet day with just Nolan. We had fun playing together! He did look around for them and called for Lucy when he got up from his nap.
