And this flower matched her eyes to a tee. She was quite perplexed by this fence that I just had to have her stand by. And this is why I had her stand by the fence. Close my eyes and leap! It was a special Christmas because all of our family gathered at my house this year for Christmas. We are so very thankful for the grace that has been given us in many ways and for this rare and wonderful blessing of being together for Christmas in Texas. Our special guest was our own Daddy! He was able to get a day pass from rehab and spend Christmas Day with us! Grandmother, Lauren, Papaw, Papaw-Papaw, Caroline, Patti.

Sunday, October 16, 2016. Visitors and a couple of tournaments. The Rattlers took 2nd place at the Breast Cancer Tournament in Grapevine. He even had a few visitors for the championship game! Grandma, Uncle Ken, Aunt Gale and Paw Paw were in town for the night! Thanks for watching our boy play! A week or so after, Aunt Nancy and Uncle Tim popped in for dinner. We loved seeing them! Me at the top of Rendezvous Peak - 7. 5 miles and 4,100 vertical feet. This hike took me 2 hours and 25 minutes. It was incredible and so beautiful! View from the top!
