Mary Competes in Her First Triathlon. Alamitos Beach, Long Beach. I am really proud of her and seeing her hard work pay off in a good result. She was out there mostly for the experience of it. To compete well was a nice feeling for her and I think might encourage her to consider running a triathlon all by herself or maybe get me to do one with her. I have a lot of catching up to do if I decide to race with her.
