Crossing the Pacific to Adopt TWO kids from Russia. No endings, just a new beginning. Life changes and we change with it. I am getting my legs under me as a mom and starting to explore new interests. We are growing together, and things are good. This blog will stand as a record of the journey we made to become a family, but now that journey is mostly at an end.

The operation took less than an hour and when Trev was handed over to us he was very drugged and cranky with puffy lips. He really came out of it about an hour later at which point Michael left and I got to hang out with Trev all day watching cartoons, reading books and cuddling. His sleep that night was disrupted quite a bit.
