WELCOME TO MINT HILL ATHLETIC ASSOCIATION. Since 1972, our Association has provided a source of athletic opportunities for the youth of Mint Hill and its surrounding communities. MHAA offers baseball, basketball, football, soccer, softball and now tennis to boys and girls ages 3-18! Our players focus on learning fundamentals, good sportsmanship and teamwork in a competitive and instructional environment.

Ruby Bridges signs copies of her book Through My Eyes at the Steinbeck Festival in Salinas, Cal. When Ruby Bridges was preparing to enter first grade, she took a test. It was a special test, a test 137 students her age volunteered to take. The test, which was administered by the NAACP, was special because the only students who took the test were black.
