Friday, March 30, 2012. NT Login Id changes Sync to SQL Server Security. Recently the network team decide to change few NT Ids, is there any. Way to sync to my new Id rather than me changing manually. If drop the old one and add new one I will lose the the prior security set. Any suggestions wouuld be great. As far as I know you need to manually set previlages to new NT login.

Friday, March 30, 2012. NVarchar and SelectedValue and InsertCommand. Ive got a problem inserting data into my db. Ive created a NVARCHAR column and Im using SelectedValue Parameters. I only have a problem in the INSERT mode. The UPDATE and DELETE are working fine. All the fields can be updated or deleted, but I cant insert new data inside my db.

Friday, March 30, 2012. No mapping between account names and security IDs was done. I havent done much with AS2005. Today I was trying to migrate an AS2000 cube to As2005 using Migration Wizard. Existing AS2000 cube is on Windows 2000 Server SP4. Destination server has Windows 2003 Server with June CTP. I am running the OLAP Service on Win 2000 and 2003 Server under LocalSystem might not be the best option. Has anyone come across this before or know how to resolve it? A timestamp is not a date value. It is a binary value which is linked to. So changing that will clase a problem to your clients. Timestamp is a data type that exposes automatically generated binary. Equivalent to the Transact-SQL datetime data type.
