Sunday, December 6, 2009. I thought this was a cool looking tree and had to snap a photo. Not sure what the name of it is. This is the ANZAC Memorial near the Brisbane Central Train Station. ANZAC stands for Australia and New Zealand Army Corps that fought together in WWI and WWII. My Escape from the Heat. I loved my hotel and it was a great escape from the heat. It was supposed to be in the upper 80s all week, but climbed into the mid-90s. I went thru a LOT of bottles of Gatorade.
