Friday, July 25, 2008. Wow, such a long time between posts! My apologies, friends. Work has had me absolutely hopping crazy lately. You just surrender a significant portion of your non-child aspects of life and keep going. As I said, work has been wall-to-wall for a while now, but vacation is next week, Yay! So anyway, aside from sleep, an occasio.

I am not opposed to the remembrance of soliders who died defending their country. i am opposed to soldiers dying. i am opposed, apalled, that little girls will grow up without knowing their fathers. I know this, not only from my own experience, but also from reading the facebook tributes to an old high school friend who died in iraq.

Saturday, February 13, 2010. Hubby was diagnosed with a life-threatening illness. Cancer of the nasopharynx, stage 3. I realized all along that I was living an illusion, that life is at the tip of my fingers. That things would always be beautiful. I have been living the most comfortable and near perfect life. I felt so blessed in every imaginable way then. And then she came into my life.
