Wednesday, May 9, 2012. I was just eating or trying all the wrong ones beforehand. This was the first room we have officially painted in our house. Wednesday, June 20, 2012. So, it was time to get a big boy bed. look how grown up he looks. TOO FAST! A dear friend, Tammy, got married. Another shot of Katy and her growing little one.
Tuesday, October 2, 2012. These few pictures represent some of the moments we have had with baby Cate this past month. We blessed baby Cate when she was two weeks old and she wore a gorgeous dress that her Aunt Julie made. She looked beautiful and we were blessed to have Oma and Opa with us for the blessing and for a visit around the same time.
Over the 4th of July Weekend we went on a camping trip to northern Michigan to a place called Sleeping Bear Dunes. It was so much fun, we had a blast! It sits right on the shores of Lake Michigan and several other lakes and as the name suggests, there are LOTS of sand dunes to climb and explore. We stayed at a campground called Turtle Lake. It was fun to camp right by a lake, and we camped with our friends from church which was fun too! I realiz.

Friday, April 04, 2014. You know when a little thing that seems a simple fix catapults you into a major project? In all it took 8 hours, and a lot of help from a good friend. But we have a new door, new 2x4s in the wall that are solid and can bear the load of our roof. Now to do the drywall taping and texture on the wall. The first glimpse of the damage.
