Monday, March 3, 2014. What a whirl wind of a month. we were placed with our first two foster children. Two little boys that are brothers ages 4 and 5. What a blessing and a challenge they were but so happy to have had them. They stayed with us for about 2 weeks then went back to their mom. So thankful and happy for them! Then we got a shock when they called and asked us if we wanted a foster to adopt child. It was a little girl who was 3 months old and ours if we wanted her.

Halloween was one week after we moved in and I put a pumpkin in our window to woo the trick-or-treaters. I bought 200 pieces of candy. Sadly, my glowing, smiling pumpkin did not entice the trick-or-treaters. We only had one little princess stop by who politely took two pieces of candy and went on her merry way.
