my views on life and the world around me. Life from a swimmers perspective. The other morning was gorgeous. Warm, but not hot, with a delicious breeze blowing through the leaves. It was the kind of morning that makes you want to sit on the porch with a magazine and a cup of coffee for an hour or two. I have a five-month-old, whose desire for independence and mobility are blossoming. Hence, I do not spend my mornings lounging on the porch.

She wanted advice on fixing it, but after hearing the recipe I told her to just throw it out, freeze the cupcakes and we would work on the frosting another day together. After a few more attempts she finally did just that and I am so glad she did! 2 cups cake flour.
Sunday, March 9, 2014. Lately my life has felt like a roller coaster, with enough twists and turns to make me both giddy with joy and sick to my stomach. Sometimes both things happen in the same day. The roller coast ride is a daily reminder that life changes constantly and you have to change with it. I think about the changes I want to make in my life on a near daily basis. My to-do list looks like this pile of luggage.
