Friday, July 3, 2009. The End of Two Weeks of Hard Work. The two week session of the 2009 Workshop ended today. The students spent both Thursday and Friday debating and attending electives. On Friday morning, students attended three electives. 9am - Salvaging the Round, Communitarianism, Advanced CX, 1AR Strategy, Rebuttal Drills. 10am - Extensions, Zizek and Pals, Anarchy and Oppression, Debating Disadvantages, Advanced Prep.
Thursday, July 10, 2008. Three Weeks Coming to an End. On Thursday, practice rounds six and seven occurred. Additionally, Aaron Timmons and Beena Koshy gave a lecture on tournament preparation. The Green division spent time in the library blocking out commonly run arguments and the Mean division attended a theory drill session. Tuesday, July 8, 2008. Practice Rounds, Drills, and Lectures. On Tuesday, students debated practice round four where the emphasis was stopping debater.

In my capstone class for future secondary math teachers, I ask my students to come up with ideas for. Their students with different topics in the secondary mathematics curriculum. In other words, the point of the assignment was not to devise a full-blown lesson plan on this topic. Instead, I asked my students to think about three different ways of getting their students interested in the topic in the first place.
