Wednesday, May 30, 2012. The girls help set up the tent. Even though we had to stop a few times, the girls actually did great! When you get to the top of the trail, the stairs lead to the fire lookout. And a photo opp! The horizon is hazy due to wildfires in NM, but still a breath-taking view! After the hike, we headed back to camp to relax.
Friday, May 6, 2011. The kids sang us cute songs. Who can take a frown. Cover me with kisses and cookies and a milk. Because she mixes it with love. And makes the world so good. Who can build me up. When I feel so blue. With a miracle or two. Because she care when I get hurt. And she buttons up my shirt.
Tuesday, July 5, 2011. A couple of weeks ago, we made a trip down to Colorado Springs to the Cheyenne Mountain Zoo.

So this week at school they are holding a Turkey Trot Walk-A-Thon where the kids can walkjog around the blacktop outside for a chance to win a turkey. I had no interest in getting involved cause honestly, sometimes there is just TOO MUCH going on with school! She loved it and is so excited to get more laps in tomorrow!
