I know that I had to marry and divorce so I could learn, grow, and appreciate the next phase of life. We are blessed to feel of thy love and to see thy hand in our daily lives and for that I am grateful.

This trip is not very far away but I feel okay about starting on the treadmill. For one the temperature has been insanely cold outside and for another while I am just starting out the treadmill helps me keep track of myself a little more. Now that I have shared my new goal maybe it will be a little more motivation to accomplish it. It was pretty windy .

Sunday, December 13, 2009. My family had our annual Christmas party on Saturday night and this year it was an ugly sweater contest. Bless the DI! We had a judge come in and we all had to parade in front of them and then they decided who won.

The best thing about the future is that it comes one day at a time. Four years has brought much change. Four years ago, to the day, I moved to Country Manor as a newly-single mom of a five year old and three year old. Now I sit in Allegheny Arms in the home that will see my seven and nine year old start 2nd and 4th grade. For the Lord shall comfort Zion, he will comfort all her waste places; and he will make her wilderness like Eden, and her desert like the garden of the Lord.
