Spring Break started as a hiking trip to Big Bend and then got an added ski trip to Angel Fire New Mexico, turning it into the most epic excursion in spring break history. packing for two trips in one! Big Bend was gorgeous! The Rio Grande River. and the kids crossed and touched Mexico! The brains with the map behind the operation.

November 25, 2012. It was a busy week gearing up for the Thanksgiving festivities, made a little more difficult with me being sick and Tom having a kidney stone. That didnt stop us too much, though! Rob flew in for Thanksgiving, so it was nice to have the whole McGillen family there to celebrate Thanksgiving together. We ordered a smoked turkey from Vans - definitely a new tradition. I took one of her each morning before school. by the end of the week she was pretty tired, but we got through it, and she loved it!
