Thursday, March 5, 2015. Began as a completely normal day in our family. I was preparing to leave the following morning for a Medical Mission Trip to Belize, Drue and the kids doing routine daily activities. I dropped off Lauren and Blake at school and proceeded to travel to Gadsden for my job, and to meet nana which had made several casseroles for Drue and the kids to eat while I was gone.
A southern boy marries a chinese girl. These are some of the stories and happenings of our life and the adventures of raising our 3 little girls. So since this blog is supposed to chronicle our life I figured I should post some of the recent stories, happenings and saying that ive posted on facebook. And simultaneously chunked the piece of string cheese so hard that it actually hit the window.

Monday, February 18, 2013. Baby Jake is 3! Okay, Jake turned 3 over a month ago, but so far 2013 has been super busy. Between working as a contract speech-language pathologist for early intervention, as well as, staying home with the kiddos, life has been a little crazy. I love it when people say how busy they are. The McCay Twins 1! Wednesday, January 30, 2013. We have had a few nights when I could not get him to go to sleep and hes cried. And then proceeded to bang his head on the crib slats and hurt himself, or later pull himself up and not know how to get down. And we have let him cry for over an hour. He never showed a sign of stopping. Ill still go to him if he wakes and try to get him back down in the crib but if I spend too much time or nothing Im doing is working he is going to have to cry.
